Jam Making Course
Had a super summer jam making course with Jeanette and Sandy last week. They chose unusual jams to start with: rhubarb, apple and cinnamon for Sandy - delicious; tasted like tangy rhubarb crumble.
Jeanette made spiced apple and black berry jam, which set beautifully and tasted wonderful.
After lunch, they went to create another batch each using strawberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries......
All jars polished, labelled and boxed up to take home over tea and cake.
