MARMALADE MAKING

Really good home-made marmalade is just delicious : perfect pieces of meltingly-soft orange peel, suspended in a delectable, tangy jelly -  you really will not want to buy a jar ever again!

Come and learn how to make Classic Seville Orange marmalade, using the whole-fruit method - and take your whole batch home with you.

 

Course outline:

 

-Tasting session

-Full instruction, demonstration and hands-on marmalade making

-Methods of testing for a set

-Sterilizing jars, potting and labelling

 

Cook at your own work station, by induction hob, in a friendly, informal atmosphere. All recipes, ingredients and equipment are supplied.

Lashings of complimentary coffee/tea/cake

Course details:

​

Courses run on Thursdays and Fridays throughout January and February (Seville orange season) for up to four people at a time.

​

Morning sessions:10am-12.30pm

​

Afternoon sessions: 2pm-4.30pm

​

Cost: £70.00 pp
